The Hologic 3Dimensions™ is used in digital mammography for the optimal examination of the female breast. The state-of-the-art machine produces digital, low-radiation images in a short time. With help from these images, we can identify and diagnose anomalies in a timely and reliable manner, regardless of age and breast density.
The new 3D mammography is even more precise than conventional 2D mammography. Integrated, intelligent imaging produces high-resolution images in 2D and 3D. With the Hologic 3Dimensions, we can thus detect 20-65% more anomalies.
In addition, patients are ensured a high level of comfort. The curved paddles of the Smart Curve System ensure uniform compression of the entire breast and provide greater comfort for 93% of patients.
The examination and compression times are very brief for maximum patient comfort. One scan takes only 3.7 seconds.
