Gamma Camera Mediso TH45

The Mediso TH45 small-field camera is a gamma camera that can detect and display emitted radiation. We use the camera to specifically examine smaller body parts.

The Mediso TH45 is thus primarily used in thyroid scintigraphy. A special attachment lets us take images of the throat area in a convenient, seated position. Because the camera itself does not emit radiation, individuals accompanying the patient can remain in the room during the exam, if necessary.
