The only one of its kind in Germany, the D-SPECT Gamma Camera is a scanner used exclusively for heart-myocardial scintigraphy. While conventional cameras in nuclear medicine have two or three detectors, the D-SPECT camera uses nine detectors situated in a semicircle around the chest.
The Mediso Small-field Camera TH45 for small organs is a gamma camera that can detect and display emitted radiation. We use the camera to specifically examine smaller body parts. The Mediso TH45 is thus primarily used in thyroid scintigraphy.
